| Printing process by INKSPECTA.GICLEE Archival Prints
Prints are digital prints from a digitized image outputted from a computer to an inkjet printer. We produce limited edition,fine art prints on archival quality specially coated paper and canvas, printed with archival pigment inks which are UV stable. The blue wool scale is a print standard scale set by the Fine Arts Trades Guild, and it specifies a score of 6 or above,on paper and canvas over 250gsm,to qualify for the title of a giclee print that has longevity. Inkspecta(the Printer) conforms to the standards set by the Fine Arts Trades Guild and uses an Epson Stylus Pro 10000CF Pigment Ink Printer and Archival Papers and Canvas over 250gsm. We use a specialized Hasselblad digital scan back camera to scan artworks up to two metres square and a Creo IQsmart2 scanner for negatives and film up toA# size. All prints are personally authorized by the artists as true reproductions of the original as each artist is present throughout the proofing stage. |
